Construction Management and Design-Build projects are a core competency at ThinkOne and ThinkOne Construction Management. We guarantee that our Construction Management process is a better project delivery method than the traditional “design-bid-build” for a multitude of reasons including better communication, cost savings, schedule improvement, client satisfaction, and ease of design and construction.
ThinkOne Construction Management reaches out to projects that allow us to maximize the use of our ThinkOne architects and our construction managers. Our goal is to control the project scope, cost and schedule. Bringing a project in on budget and on schedule is not just a conceptual idea – it’s what we do. Over the past 25 years, members of our team have either designed or designed and constructed over 400 projects.

Project Control is a critical component of our project management process. Specifically, we prepare a detailed project schedule using Microsoft Project. The schedule will include all appropriate activities to manage the project and it will be updated for you on a bi-weekly basis. ThinkOne Construction Management will establish realistic project milestones and we will meet or beat those critical points in the project schedule. We will hold ourselves and others working on your project accountable to the schedule.
Our Construction Management Team will be responsible for initial cost estimating and perform constructability reviews on all construction design drawings that are developed by the design-build team. This valuable step helps reduce costs and allows the project to progress efficiently. During construction, our team constantly updates and manages the project cost data to maintain expenditures within budget. Having the experience to recognize a potential construction problem early in the process, assures our clients of receiving the very best product available, and heads off significant problems later when they are difficult or impossible to rectify.
Quality and durability are critical components in reducing the life cycle costs of a building. Balancing these traits with the allowable budget and appearance is important to every project that we design and build. ThinkOne Construction Management will perform quality control services. For example, we will ensure that soil moisture and compaction meet requirements before pouring concrete. All concrete, framing and finishes will be inspected to ensure quality. We take quality control and Safety very seriously and do everything possible to build a long lasting and durable building.
