Museum of the Rockies | Renovation & Expansion
Project Square Footage: 49,000 sf (17,800 sf renovation)
Working with GWWO Architects from Baltimore, Maryland, ThinkOne prepared a long range master plan for the Museum of the Rockies. The complete project includes a new main entrance, new exhibit space, new loading and material handling area, new secure and controlled artifact storage area, new Children Discovery Center, and re-organization of the paleontology/research area.
The first phase of the project was valued at $14,000,000. The project focused on creating an exciting new entry for the building, converting the current to an indoor event facility and there will be a dramatic increase in the Museum’s ability to store and care for invaluable historical items.
